DC Kupwara reviews progress of Sectoral Action Plans under Deliverables 2022-23

KUPWARA, AUGUST 06: The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the progress of Sectoral Action Plans under Agriculture, Education, Health, Sports, Tourism, Skill Development and Employment under Deliverables 2022-23 programme.

Addressing the meeting, the DDC said that the Deliverables is among the top most priorities of the Government and stressed upon the officers to work with added dedication for its effective and timely implementation.

The DC directed the officers to make the plans comprehensive with complete clarity and data based adding that the departments should make optimum utilization of available resources to achieve the objectives under the Deliverables programme.

Khalid Jehangir stressed the need for making the plans specific with cohesion and clarity and asked the concerned officers to utilize their expertise and information in coordination with the committees already framed for effective implementation of the deliverables.

Regarding Sports Plan, the DC directed the District Youth Services & Sports Officer to formulate the plan vis-à-vis activity as well as infrastructure required in the district, besides, the potential of the district and the output should also be included in the plan.

Reviewing the Skill Development sector, the DC took a detailed review of measures including Inclusive Skill Mapping of Youth, Panchayat Level Skill Development Plan and Identification of Skill Gap in the District and directed the concerned officers to submit the report within 3 days regarding the same.

The DC also took a detailed review of the Agriculture, Health, Education and Tourism sectors and directed the concerned officers to submit DPRs for 100% saturation of the deliverables.

JD Planning, Chief Medical Officer, CEO, CAO, DSHO and other concerned officers attended the meeting.
