DC Srinagar flags-off ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Yatra from Polo-view

Over 400 officials of Sports Department participated in the event to promote “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign

SRINAGAR, AUGUST 06: In a move to raise awareness and promote “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad Saturday morning flagged-off  a mammoth ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Yatra from Sher-i-Kashmir Park, Polo View.

The Yatra passed through Zero Bridge, Rajbagh, Radio Colony, Jawahar Nagar, Wazir Bagh, and other areas in the vicinity and culminated at Youth Hostel Srinagar.

The Yatra was organized by District Youth Services and Sports Srinagar in collaboration with District Administration Srinagar which was participated by over 400 officials of YS&S Department working in Srinagar District.

The participants carried National Flags, Banners and placards, depicting the need and importance of celebrating ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. The participants also chanted slogans in order to aware general people about the campaign.

District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYS&SO) Srinagar, Balbir Singh along with other officers and officials of YS&S Department lead the Yatra from start to finish.

It is pertinent to mention here that DYSSO Srinagar has been at the forefront in conducting activities under ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and other national campaigns.
