Commemorating Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (75 Years of Independence) and under Har Ghar Tiranga, Ghar Ghar Tiranga drive, Shalateng Garrison organised a ‘Run for Fun’ for all ranks and their families on 13 Aug 2022, in which participants of different age groups from the garrison participated in the run with great zeal and enthusiasm. The children ran holding the Tiranga and shouting “Jai Hind and Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.
The run was flagged off which ended at ‘Vatika’ the Nature Park, where participating children were felicitated and their enthusiasm was applauded.
The Event culminated with refreshments for all participants. The smile on the faces of departing participants was a clear sign of satisfaction and pride for being part of the celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
