Rehmatallil Almeen Foundation organise seminar on Drug Free Kashmir.

Drug addiction in JK is spreading very fast Need to be curbed. Syed Aijaz Kashani

In an initiative to eradicate drug menace from the society , a day long impressive drug de – addiction programme was held at Rawal Pora Srinagar by “Rehmatallil Almeen Foundation” . The programme aims to enhance the general awareness of Drug De-addiction to include imparting knowledge of disadvantages and effect of Drug abuse, identifying addicts with symptoms and measures which can be taken at family and friends level to assist a drug addict in rehabilitation.The opening of the event was performed by reciting verses from Holy Quran and Naat sharief by the participants.The event witnessed a great response from locals .The guest and Speakers who brilliantly put forth wonderful thoughts were Sheikh firdous Chairman Rehmatallil Almeen Foundation , Mufti mudasir. Rouf Elahi , Molana Gulam Mohd Gulzar, Adil Mustafa ,Dr Manzoor Ahmed,Professor Salim Mir, Muzamil, shabir ahmad bhat and Renowned Social activist Syed Aijaz Kashani and many other Religious Organization head’s and Khateebs.

While speaking in the prestigious event Social Activist Syed Aijaz Kashani said our main aim is to aware the audience , students, local community members, civil society members and masjid committees about the worsening situation of daily spike in Drug addiction . Sheikh Firdous the Chairman Rehmatallil Almeen Foundation said our organization will also carry out one to one Counselling Sessions with addicted local youths and guide them towards rehabilitation. Other guests who spoke in the event were full of enthusiasm, knowledge and positivity in their approach.Seminar was attended by Ulemas ,Khateebs, Moulanas, Muftis, Imams, Religious Scholars, Social Activists, Religious Organization, imam va Khateebs of various jamia masjid from different districts of Srinagar.
