Debate and Essay Competition organized at GC,CRPF, Srinagar

A Debate and Essay Competition on the subject “Unity of India” was organized under the aegis of Srinagar Sector at RCWA, Group Centre, CRPF Humhama, Srinagar on 23/11/2022 in which 15 participants of the age group of 08-17 years residing inside the campus have participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Large number of force personnel were also present to witness the above programme. At the outset, Shri Rajesh Kumar, DIG GC CRPF Srinagar addressed the participants/gathering and apprised about the objective of this competition being organized to mark the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. He also emphasized upon the importance of National Unity and Integrity. DIG GC CRPF Srinagar has also informed the august gathering that such type of events will be organized in future also and requested parents to motivate their children for their participation.
Ms Muskan Preet Kaur, Ms Pranjal Yadav and Ms Yogita Mahauliya secured Ist, 2nd and 3rd position respectively in Essay Competition and Ms Masrat, Ms Nafia Keshar and Ms Sirat secured Ist, 2nd and 3rd position respectively in Debate Competition. In order to appreciate the efforts and to boost up the morale of budding children, Commendation Certificates were also given to the winners/participants in recognition of their wholeheartedly performance during the event by Shri B.S.Rawat, Commandant, GC, CRPF, Srinagar. Besides above, sweets/chocolates were also distributed among all the participating children. The participants felt satisfied on receiving the appreciation Certificates on this occasion.
