CRPF, the largest paramilitary of the world, always remain deployed in disturbed zone affected by militancy, insurgency and terrorism. In such situations the general public of conflict zone suffers a lot especially the poor and destitutes who do not find themselves to meet their both ends meet. Particularly the female folk who are the backbone of the society. In order to help out such needy person CRPF propagated the idea of “Madadgar”. Through Madadgar initiative CRPF establish contact with needy people and provide the best possible help. In continuation to this programme, today, Sh. Nadeem Ahmad Samdani, Comdt. 144 Bn, CRPF as part of Madadgar programme distributed one sewing machine to Smt. Rifat Ara, a resident of Lal Bazar, Srinagar. The recipient expressed her deep gratitude towards CRPF for this help. She told that she was familiar with the skill of stitching and embroidery but her family was not capable of purchasing machine to pursue her skill. She said that the machine and accessories presented by Madadgar, CRPF would enhance her skill and improve the family income also. On this occasion, Sh. Nadeem Ahmad Samdani, Comdt.-144 Bn informed that CRPF had a tradition to help the poor and needy people while performing its duties in militancy infested area. Today’s programme was a part of series of such activities of distribution of sewing machines in different parts of Kashmir valley. He requested the gathering, present in the function to come forward and share their grievances either on CRPF helpline or directly with the Force official nearby their localities. Sh. Samdani thanked all who graced the occasion and made it a success.
