Human rights are women’s rights, and women’s rights are human rights.” While International Women’s Day is celebrated every year to acknowledge the contributions of women in personal and public life, their role in our society is of utmost importance, which necessitates them to be empowered. To emphasize the importance of Women’s empowerment, which is a must for our economic growth and overall development of the nation, a program on Role of women in society, their upliftment and empowerment was organised by Widow, Orphan & Handicapped People Trust of J&K at Govt Boys Higher Secondary, Magam.
