Srinagar, Feb 23 : Spotted a week ago, a leopard in Srinagar’s Rawalpora area is yet to be trapped, while the authorities at the Wildlife department on Thursday said the teams and traps have been laid to capture the animal.  Regional Wildlife Warden Kashmir region, Rashid Yahya Naqash told the news agency—that the teams have already been deputed for the last three days and that all measures are in place to capture the animal.  “We have initiated the door-to-door campaign in the area on the advisory, cages, and darts while other needed measures are in place,” he said, adding, “We are monitoring it closely as the animal is been spotted a week ago.”  Urging people to follow the advisory, the Regional Wildlife Warden Kashmir said that people should follow the advisory issued by the department.  It is pertinent to mention that it is not the first time that a leopard was spotted in Srinagar. The wild animal has been spotted many times in the district.  The wildlife authorities said the leopards have become urbanised and are learning to live with human landscapes as they are getting enough cover of food in the shape of dogs—
