CGC Jhanjeri has launched the CGC Josh Scholarship Programme in Kashmir worth Rs. 10 Crores for Jammu & Kashmir students in the presence of DFO Altaf Hussain Dentoo . Altaf Hussain Dentoo elaborated the importance of higher education in shaping career. He asserted the significance of the CGC Josh scholarship programme. According to him many students wish to get education from highly reputed colleges but financial hurdles barred them from getting admission. CGC Josh is one such effort and perfect solution to overcome financial restraints. CGC Jhanjeri has successfully unveiled the scholarship program in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh .Now the CGC Josh is launched in Jammu and Kashmir.
Vishavdeep Singh, the General Manager at CGC Jhanjeri, informed about the education benefits that a Jammu or a kashmiri student can avail in the campus. He further said that more than 100 students from Jammu and Kashmir have availed the scholarship in 2021 and 2022. Dr. Hitesh Kalota, who heads admissions and marketing, said more than 468 students have been placed in good companies with the highest package of 12 Lakhs per Annum.
