INDIAN ARMY ORGANISES INTER SCHOOL QUIZ COMPETITION AT BATPORA

Education is one of the most important aspects of growing up. It is the process of acquiring knowledge and skill for a profession. It helps develop the power of reasoning and judgement and prepares oneself for a mature life. A quiz is one of the oldest and fastest methods of testing the academic knowledge of students.

Indian army continuing with its efforts to engage youth in co-curriculum activities organised an *Inter School Quiz Competition * in which *24 boys and girls* from *six* different schools of *Batpora* participated.

The quiz was planned with 25 questions from different categories namely current affairs, geography, Bollywood, cricket and Kashmir. In the end a rapid fire round of 5 questions was played to decide the winner. The participants and audience thoroughly enjoyed the competition and were cheering their respective teams with full Josh and spirit.

In the thrilling and nail biting competition Govt Boys High School, Batpora defeated Shiekh ul Alam Public School with just one point to win the competition.

First two teams were rewarded with medals and gifts. One best player from each team was also rewarded. The teachers and students were thankful to the Indian Army for the event and requested for more such events in future.
