13 NDRF, SDRF conducts One Day CBRN Enclave in Bla

A day-long Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Enclave was held at district police line in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday.

The program was organised by jointly by National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) in collaboration with other stakeholders.

The aim of the CBRN Enclave was to enhance the preparedness and response capabilities of the first responders in the event of any CBRN emergency. The event was attended by various stakeholders, including representatives from the police, fire department, medical services, civil defense, and other government agencies.

The Enclave included lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions on various aspects of CBRN emergencies. The participants were given an overview of the types of CBRN incidents, their effects, and how to identify and respond to them. They were also trained in the proper use of personal protective equipment, decontamination procedures, and techniques for handling contaminated materials.

The Enclave was conducted by a team of experts from the NDRF and SDRF, who have specialized training in handling CBRN emergencies. The team was assisted by other experts from various fields, including medical professionals and chemists.

Speaking at the event, the spokesperson for the NDRF and SDRF emphasized the importance of such training programs in enhancing the preparedness and response capabilities of first responders in the event of any CBRN emergency. They also thanked all the stakeholders for their support and participation in the Enclave.

Overall, the CBRN Enclave was a success, providing valuable training and knowledge to the participants and enhancing their preparedness and response capabilities in the event of any CBRN emergency. The NDRF and SDRF look forward to continuing such collaborations with stakeholders in the future to ensure the safety and security of the citizens.
