Kupwara : A Free Medical health check-up camp was organized in Bumhama Kupwara under the Civic Action Programme by 162 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Govt Middle School Bumhama Kupwara , during which free medicines were distributed here.
The camp was inaugurated by SSP Kupwara Shri Youghal Manhas, Commandant 162 Battalion Shri Vinod Kumar ,Second-in-Command CRPF Shri Rajiv Kumar, Assistant Commandant Shri Neeraj Kumar , Assistant Commandant Abhishak Yadav , Dr Vishvender Singh Medical Officer 162 Battalion, Sarpanch Bumhama and other degnitries were present on this occasion
During this camp Dr Vishvender Singh Medical officer 162 Battalion CRPF were present there
During the medical camp a number of people including women, children and senior citizens of the area visited to take advantage of the camp.
SSP Kupwara Shri Yoghal Manhas said while talking to media, “CRPF runs various schemes for assisting the needy and merging with the local and for having better coordination with them.
Commandant 162 Battalion CRPF Shri Vinod Kumar said today we have organised a free medical camp and consultancy for those who require medical assistance and you see a large number of people turned up in the programme. The aim of such programmes is to have good relations with locals and also help them in difficult times. It’s a continuous process and 162 Battalion is periodically conducting community outreach programs in one or other way. In the past also such free medical camps were organised in Kupwara district”,
Meanwhile the locals extended gratitude to 162 Battalion for conducting the medical camp in the area.
