‘Azad has changed the developmental landscape of landlocked district; R.S.Chib
Rajouri,May 16: Democratic Progressive Azad Party on Tuesday hold an office bearers meet in Rajouri distt and discussed in details regarding the upcoming visit of party chairman Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad. The meeting was presided over by General Secretary R.S.Chib, Provincial President Jugal Kishore Sharma, Salman Nizami Chief Spokesperson. The party leadership of the district discussed all the necessary arrangements and took stock of the preparations for the tour of Azad. “We are all set to greet our party chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad in our district. Our workers are over excited and waiting for his visit,” said Sushil Sharma Distt President Rajouri. The party leadership also held a meeting and took review for the ongoing membership drive in the district. They have resolved to take the membership drive to the last person of the district and apprise people of party’s progressive and developmental agenda. “When Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad was the chief minister of erstwhile state he sanctioned medical College, schools and hospitals for the district. Since then we don’t face difficulties in education and health sectors. Even the road connectivity was enhanced with a grand network of roads and the district was uplifted through massive infrastructural development,” R.S. Chib. ‘We are hopeful to see Rajouri emerging as one of the modern districts for Jammu Kashmir, if Mr Azad again becomes chief minister of Union Territory. Previously he has changed the developmental landscape of the district.
