Yatri Dies, Another Injured After Falling from Track Near Kali Mata Morh in Baltal

A 50-year-old Yatri lost their life and another sustained injuries after falling from the track near Kali Mata Morh on the Baltal side in the central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

An official stated that the Yatri, identified as Vijay Kumar from Bihar (age 50), was accompanied by Ms. Mamta Kumari. While returning from the Holy Cave, they tragically fell along the track near Kali Mata Morh, resulting in Vijay Kumar’s unfortunate demise on the spot.

“The deceased’s body has been recovered and is being transferred to the Baltal Base Camp Hospital, while the injured woman is receiving medical care at the Brarimarg Base Camp Hospital,” he further added. (KNS)
