Security forces on Tuesday morning averted a major tragedy by detecting and destroying an improvised explosive device (IED) in Panjgrain Nagrota in Jammu division.
An official told news agency that suspicious object after found at Jammu division been destroyed by the Technical Team / Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) through a controlled mechanism.
He said the traffic now from both sides has been restored.
The officer further said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and investigation has been taken up. (KS)
