In a tragic incident, a female tourist from Thailand passed away at a wedding ceremony in Pampore area of South Kashmir.
Sources told that the foreign tourist, identified as Saranjai Trimas, daughter of Late Thaunun from Thailand, reportedly became unconscious during the marriage. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, the doctors declared her deceased upon arrival.
The sources attribute the cause of her death to a heart attack.
Sources further said that she had been invited to the wedding by a prominent businessman.
A police official told that a case has been registered, and a thorough investigation is currently underway.(KS)
