Anantnag Oct 11: A fatal road accident occurred in early morning at Bidhard, area of tehsil larnoo in Anantnag district resulting in the loss of one life and leaving eight others injured.
An official told *Anantnag News Reader* that a Vehicle (Tata Sumo) with registration number JK03B 1989 was on route from Deesu to Vailoo when it skidded off the road, plummeting from a Bidhard Bridge.
The unfortunate accident claimed life of one individual, officials identified him as Mushtaq Ahmad Shapoo son of Abdul Reham Shapoo, a resident of Zamalgam Kokernag.
The eight injured individuals, identified as, Junaid Ahmad Khanday, son of Fayaz Ahmad Khanday, resident of Deesu. Bilkis Jan, wife of Ajaz Deka, resident of Deesu. AB Gani Deka, son of Ab Rehman Deka, resident of Deesu. Shabir Drakad, son of Sadhurdin, resident of Dandipora. Usman Ajaz, son of Ajaz Deka, resident of Deesu. Mohd Hakeem, son of Ajaz Ahmad, resident of Deesu. Jawahira Banoo, wife of Mohd Ashraf Deka, resident of Deesu. Khurshid Ahmad Deka, son of Ab Rehman, resident of Deesu.
All of the injured individuals were promptly referred to a nearby hospital for advanced medical treatment.
Additionally, authorities was on spot and have taken cognizance and started investigation.
