A police cop who was injured in a road mishap in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district four days ago has passed away today morning.
Official sources told that the policeman, identified as Nisar Ahmad Mir, was on duty when he was hit by a motorcycle on October 9, 2023. The incident occurred in the Khanbal area of Anantnag, where Mir, a 45-year-old resident, suffered severe injuries.
Immediately after the accident, Mir was rushed to SKIMS Soura in a critical condition. Despite the best efforts of the medical team and being hospitalized for four days, he succumbed to his injuries this morning. (KS)
