A woman has committed suicide in district by consuming some poisonous substance in Reasi district.
An official told that a 21 year old woman from Chassana area of District Reasi had consumed some poisonous substances at her home and family members shifted her to hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.
Soon after the incident, the police reached the hospital and after all formalities started an investigation into the incident.
After postmortem, the woman’s body was handed over to her family for last rites, said an official.
He added that further investigation has been taken up. (KS)
