Police Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani Succumbs at AIIMS New Delhi

Srinagar, Dec 7 : Police Inspector Masroor Ahmad Wani, who was hospitalised after being critically shot by militants in October month, has succumbed to his injuries at AIIMS New Delhi.

A top Police officer told that Wani has succumbed to his injuries some time ago.

The injured police inspector, the officer said, was shifted from Paras Hospital Srinagar to New Delhi in an Air Ambulance on Wednesday.

Wani was critically injured after militants fired at him in the Eidgah area of Srinagar in the last week of October this year.

The incident happened when Masroor Ahmad was playing cricket with local boys at Eidgah near a Masjid. (KS)
