Srinagar, Jan 04 :- Several shops were damaged in a fire mishap in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
An official told that the fire broke out at Dar-Gali market in the late hours of Wednesday and engulfed many shops.
He said men and machinery including police, fire and emergency along local made stringent efforts to douse off the fire.
He added that fire was brought under control but not before it has caused damage to the several shops.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and the cause of fire is being ascertained.(KS)
