PDD casual labour dies of electrocution in Baramulla

Baramulla, Jan 11: A casual labour of the Power Development Department died of electrocution while repairing a transmission line in the Rafiabad area of the Baramulla district on Thursday, official sources said.

The victim has been identified as Muhammad Jammal Reshi of Gund Chobutara Kralgund.

Official sources told that the victim who was working as a casual laborer in PDD received an electric shock while repairing a transmission.

He was immediately taken to NTPHC Dangiwacha where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police in this regard have registered a case under relevant sections of law. [KNT]
