Woman dies of asphyxiation in HMT Srinagar

Srinagar, Feb 14 :- A woman died due to Asphyxiation caused by an LPG heater at her residence in the HMT area of Central Kashmir Srinagar district on Wednesday afternoon.

An official told that a woman identified as Rukaya Fayaz wife of Fayaz Ahmad Bhat resident of HMT fell unconscious at her residence due to asphyxiation in Mustafabad area of HMT.

He said that she was shifted to hospital for treatment, however, doctors declared her brought dead.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and the body has been shifted to SMHS hospital for medico-legal formalities.(KS)
