Shopian, Feb 28: A minor boy died after drowning in a stream in Malihura Zainapora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district this evening.
An official said that a 07-year-old boy identified as Imad Khan son of Tahir Ahmad Khan resident of Malihura Zainapora drowned in a water stream in his native village this evening.
He said, his body was fished out and rushed to hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared him brought dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
