Kaifa shah along with Indian Team led by Mr Amit Palp had left for Moscow on 28th of Feb 2024 from New Delhi
She was received by Secretary District Srinagar Wushu association Mr Maqsood Ahmad along with Mr Aijaz Hassan.Mr Irfan Ahmad ,Mr Rameez Ahmad Ms Sadia Tariq ,Wushu team of Srinagar and their Parents after which they accompanied her to Rawalpora in a cavalcade.
Bagging Silver medal in her maiden International appearance is being appreciated by one and all
Kaifa shah who is regarded as one of the senior most Wushu player of the UT was thankful to the Wushu Association of India and Mr Kuldeep Handoo (Dronacharya awardee )for the arrangements made by them in Russia .She said that arrangements in Russia were of international level ,fantastic and players didn’t faced any difficulty during their stay in Moscow .
As regarding her Medal she said that this medal is the outcome of the trust that Mr Kuldeep Handoo jibhad in me . It’s due to Mr Kuldeep Handoo ji that J&K is being regarded as a best Wushu playing team on national and international level .She thanked Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor for his keen interest for the advancement of sports infra in this UT. she thanked Ms Nuzhat Gul ji (Secretary sports council) for taking sports level of this UT to a level which one could only dream off before her takeover as Sectary Sports .It is due to her hard work support and encouragement that sports is being regarded as best alternative to rising drug menace in the UT,
She was thankful to wushu Association of India ,Wushu association of J &K ,District Srinagar wushu association for their support and encouragement .
It is pertinent to mention here that it was Kaifa shah’s maidan international championship and bagging Silver in her very ist international championship speaks volumes about her dedication and determination to excel
Kaifa Shah who won Silver Medal in International Wushu Stars Championship 2024 at Moscow was given Rousing reception at Srinagar Airport on her return from Moscow today
