Srinagar, Mar 12:- A woman lost her life while her husband was injured in a road accident in Achabal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Tuesday afternoon officials said.

Reports reaching that an accident took place at Nowgam Achabal when a vehicle bearing registration no JK03M 5022 hit Seda begum and her husband namely Ab Ahad wani both residents of Khandroo Achabal.

They said that both were taken to SDH hospital Achabal where Seda Begum (55) was declared dead while as Ab Ahad Wani (60) was referred to GMC Anantnag for further treatment.

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.(KS)
