The Rotary Club of Kashmir, a proud unit of Rotary International established in 1905 and renowned as the largest NGO in the world, has embarked on a significant initiative to contribute to environmental conservation and sustainability by kickstarting a plantation drive at the Mansabal catchment area.
Dedicated to serving the community and making a positive impact on the environment, the esteemed office bearers of the Rotary Club of Kashmir recently visited the site to oversee the commencement of the plantation drive. This initiative aligns with Rotary International’s global mission to promote goodwill and peace through various humanitarian and environmental efforts.
The Mansabal catchment area, known for its natural beauty and ecological significance, has been chosen as the focal point for this noble cause. By planting trees and enhancing the green cover in the region, the Rotary Club of Kashmir aims to not only beautify the surroundings but also contribute to the conservation of the local ecosystem.said Club Secretary Dost Mohammad Dar.
