Srinagar, March 21 : A scooty rider died in a road accident near Lasjan bridge Panthachowk area of Srinagar outskirts this afternoon.
Reports said that a scooty rider identified as Ashiq Hussain Hajam son of Noor Mohammad Hajam, a resident of Nilnagh Gogjipathri Budgam was critically injured after his scooty met with an accident near Lasjan bridge Pantha chowk this afternoon.
They said he was rushed to SMHS Hospital for treatment, however, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident. (ANH)
