Srinagar, Mar 23,: Police arrested a man after recovering Heroin from his private vehicle in Kashmir capital Srinagar.
Police sources told that after receiving information a police team led by SDPO Maharaj Gunj intercepted a Santro car (JK03-0662) in the Zaldagar area of Downtown Srinagar.
During the search of the car, one kilogram of Heroin was recovered. Accordingly, the vehicle was seized and the driver arrested.
The accused has been identified as Shafiq Khoja (48) son of Fathe Joo, a resident of Dildar Karnah.
A formal FIR vide number 10/2024 under section 8/21 NDPS was registered at police station MR Gunj. [KNT]
