Lok Sabha Elections 2024: DEO Ramban reviews preparations for elections

RAMBAN, APRIL 17: With the Lok Sabha Elections-2024 round the corner, District Election Officer (DEO) Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary today chaired a meeting to review preparedness and galvanize polling staff for conduct of polling in the district scheduled on April 19, 2024.

In presence of Senior Superintendent of Police, Anuj Kumar; ADC, VarunJeet Singh Charak; Deputy DEO and other key officials, the DEO briefed Zonal Magistrates, Zonal officers, Sector Magistrates, Sector officers, polling parties, security personnel, and other concerned officers about their role and responsibilities for the upcoming Election Day.

Addressing the gathering, the DEO emphasized on importance of adhering to Election Commission of India’s guidelines to ensure fair and transparent polling. Precautions, do’s, and don’ts were highlighted to facilitate a hassle-free voting process.

Interacting with media persons, the DEO said that Ramban Civil and Police Administration are fully prepared for democratic exercise characterized by efficiency, transparency, and adherence to electoral protocols.
