Kulgam Drug Control Deptt inspects CCTV installation, computerized billing

KULGAM, APRIL 24: 18 Surprise inspections were conducted in retail establishments of main market Kulgam by a team of Drug Control Officers headed by ADCs of Anantnag and Kulgam.
All 18 drug sale establishments were found to have installed CCTV cameras and adopted computerized billing, however one retail shop near Qazigund adda Kulgam was suspended on spot after proper show cause notice for failure to generate computerized invoices on spot and for improper storage conditions.
Also CCTV footage at several shops was checked. 03 Wholesale and 2 retail medicates were made to adopt a computerized billing system on spot.
Chemists around District Hospital Kulgam have already installed CCTVs and CBS who have given a written compliance report of Govt. Order with respect to CCTV and CBS. Other chemists were directed to maintain separate ledgers within the adopted gadget/computer for schedule H1 medicines and make a robust system of generating cash memos to all the patients.
Further, chemists who have installed CCTV cameras with low storage facility were directed to install DVR facility having storage of at least one month.
