KULGAM, MAY 02: Incompliance to the directions from the Drug Controller J&K UT regarding the installation of CCTV surveillance and adoption of computerized billing, about 20 inspections of the retail establishments were conducted today in Kulgam and other interior areas of District Kulgam including Chawalgam, Sangus Katrasoo, Ganowsrgam Sehpora.
Majority of inspected firms were found to have installed high resolution CCTV Cameras along with DVR’s. Two firms were closed on spot at Ganowsrgam and Sangus for non-adherence to installation of CCTV and computerized billing records and other conditions of Licences.
Earlier in the day, one prosecution was also launched in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Kulgam against two firms in contravention of provisions/ rules governing maintenance records of scheduled drugs under Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
