Pulwama 07 May 2024: In a significant move, Pulwama Police has continued its crackdown on drug peddlers. Today, attached one double -storied, residential house valuing approximately Rs. 11.51 lacs/- belonging to a notorious drug peddler namely Mohd Shafi Mir S/O Amanullah Mir R/O Kalarooch Kupwara under the NDPS Act 1985. The seized property, located at Mujgund in Distt. Srinagar.
This action follows a thorough investigation, identifying property as illegally acquired property by illicit drug trafficking. The accused is currently under judicial custody, reinforcing Pulwama Police’s commitment to combating activities detrimental to public safety and national security.
The attachment was carried out in accordance with sec 68-F of NDPS Act 1985 and is linked with FIR No 301/2023 under sections 8/20,29 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Pulwama, underscoring the vigilant stance of Pulwama Police against those involved in the drug trade.
This operation has been met with appreciation from the local community, as it marks a significant step in curbing the use of properties derived from illicit drug trafficking in the Police District Pulwama
