Srinagar, May 25:- At least three tourists were killed while five more were injured in a road accident in Mir Bazar area of South Kashmir Kulgam district on Saturday.
An official told that one scorpio bearing registration number PB 47 F 8687 met with an accident at Nepora near grid station Mir Bazar NHW 44 when vehicle was on way from Jammu towards Srinagar.
In the incident, at least eight persons received injuries and among them condition of six is said to be critical, he said.
He said that all injured have been shifted to GMC associated hospital Janglat Mandi for treatment where three have succumbed to injuries.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.(KS)
