Sopore, June 08 : The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 179 Battalion organized a free medical camp in Mundji Zaingeer area of north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Saturday.
This marked the *fifth such medical camp* organized by the 179 Bn CRPF in parts of Sopore in recent months, benefiting approximately 3,000 individuals.
According to CRPF officials, around 300 attended in Zaingeer camp and received free medicines and medical checkups which held at Dedh Mouj School.
A team of specialized doctors provided medical attention to those in need during the camp.
From students to elderly people attended the event. After receiving free medicines, they expressed gratitude to the 179 CRPF Battalion for reaching out and assisting their community.
The program was held under the supervision of Santosh Kumar Mall, Commandant of 179 Bn CRPF, in the presence of Ajeya Kumar (D/C), Kalyan Chauhan (A/C),AC Maqsood Aalam, Sub Inspector Javid Ahmad, ASI Hafeez Ahmad and other officials from the civil administration, police, and 179 Bn CRPF unit.
Speaking to the media, Santosh Kumar Mall, Commanding Officer of 179 Bn CRPF, urged the people from remote areas, particularly the sarpanches, to contact them so that more such camps could be organized for the well-being of the community. He emphasized that CRPF is always at the forefront of providing assistance to the community for their health and well-being.
The residents of Mundji expressed their appreciation for the medical camp organized by the CRPF 179 BN, which benefited the entire community.
