Srinagar, June 12 – A minor boy who was on a picnic with school drowns to death in Nallah at Mavar Gadole in Kokernag area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday.

 

An official told that a School boy of 1st class student namely Rehan Ahmad Awan son of Bilal Ahmad Awan resident of Chree Punzgam Kokernag aged about eight drowned to death accidently in Nalla Mavar Gadole.

 

He was on a picnic with school when the incident happened while the dead body had been fished out.

 

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started an investigation.(KS)
