Srinagar, June 14: At least three residential houses were gutted in a fire incident in Bemina area of Srinagar on Friday.
Fire and Emergency Service officials said that fire broke out at around 12.20 pm in a house at Hamdaniya colony Sector 5 of Bemina and engulfed to other nearby houses.
They said one double storey and two single storey houses were damaged in the fire incident.
Several fire tenders were rushed from the city centre to douse the fire and it took the fire fighting men one and a half hour to control the leaping flames.
No one was injured in the incident, the officials said and added the cause of fire is being ascertained.–(UNI)
