Kulgam, June 27 : In order to rectify the shortcomings noticed during dry run/mock drill for the Security arrangements in connection with upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2024 and to have a joint security grid in place at national highway NHW-44, today on 27.06.2024, SSP Kulgam *Shri Sahil Sarangal-IPS* along with CO 163 BN Shri Ajay Kumar Rajniker held a comprehensive briefing session for the Officers earmarked for the Security arrangements of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2024. Elaborate pointwise briefing regarding their laterals, SOPs, Traffic management, various issues regarding domination plans and other security related matters were discussed to avoid any untoward incident.
The meeting was held at Conference Hall Walnut Factory Qazigund and was attended by the officers of CAPF Coys/Zonal Officers/Sector officers earmarked for SANJY duty-2024 including Addl SP NHW Qazigund, SDPOs of District Police Kulgam and special focus was paid to ensure the comfort and safety of all piligrims. Overall Strategies were laid out to strengthen the security grid.
