Srinagar, June 29 :- At least five soldiers including a JCO died in an accident in Leh area of Ladakh.

 

Sources told  that a mishap took place in the Daulat Beg Oldie area of Ladakh during a tank exercise of crossing the river yesterday in the sector due to a sudden increase in water levels there.

 

They said that in the incident five soldiers lost their lives and their dead bodies have been recovered.

 

They said that their identification is being ascertained while further investigation has been taken up.(KS)
