Srinagar, July 21 :- A man lost his life while as lady was injured in a road accident in Awantipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
An official told that an Auto Load Carrier bearing registration number JK13H /5253, while on way from Sgr to Awantipora turned turtle near Barsoo Y Junction during night.
In the incident on board passengers namely Aaqib Ahmad Bhat (25) son of Gh Qadir resident of Noorpora who is maternal uncle of the driver and Afroza who is the mother of the driver received injuries, he said.
He said that both were evacuated to SDH Bijbehara ,where Aaqib Ah Bhat succumbed to injuries while the injured Afroza is undergoing treatment.
He said that the case has been registered and further investigation has been taken up.(KS)
