Budgam, Jul 23: In contiuation of its steadfast efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, Budgam police arrested 03 drug Peddler’s and recovered Contraband/Psychotropic substance from their Possession.
On receiving an information from reliable sources l, the Police party of P/S Chararsharief along with Executive Magistrate rushed towards the Spot and apprehended 03 Persons along with vehicle(Centro) bearing registration number *CH04A- 4603* tactfully. During the search of the said vehicle Contraband like substance (Poppy Straw) Weighing about 6 Kgs were recovered from their possession.
They were arrested on Spot and the vehicle used in the Commission of the Crime was seized. The individuals were identified as
1.*Gh Mohd Handroo*
S/O *Gh Ahmad Handroo*
2.*Aquib Handroo*
S/O *Gh Ahmad Handroo*
3.*Mohd Maqbool Handroo*
S/O *Gh Ahmad Handroo* all residents of Kakapora Pulwama .
Accordingly, a Case *FIR No 64/2024* under relevant sections of law was registered at PS Chararsharief and further investigation has been taken up.
