Youth from Tangmarg slips to death while trekking in heavy rainfall

Srinagar, Jul 29, : A youth from north Kashmir’s Tangmarg, area died after falling from a high altitude during a trekking adventure, sources said on Monday.

 

Reliable sources told  that a youth, identified as Sahil from Pahjan area of Tangmarg, died after falling from a high altitude.

 

Another individual, Muneer, who accompanied the slain, was critically injured abd was referred to JVC Hospital Bemina for treatment.

 

According to the sources, the boys had left on the trek early morning on Monday, aiming to explore the scenic beauty of the area.

 

However, as the day progressed, unexpected heavy rainfall created severe conditions on the trekking route, leading to the tragic death. (KNT)
