Rajouri, Aug 26 : A 32-year-old woman was killed today after being struck by lightning near Ruprri Gali in Rajouri district on Monday evening.
An official told that a woman who was reportedly collecting grass for cattle in Chhe-Sari Dhok died after lightning suddenly struck her.
He added that the woman was later identified as Akhter Begum, wife of Mohammad Riaz, resident of Hubbi, Tehsil Kotranka.
Meanwhile, police have taken up the investigation.—(News Vibes of India)
