Omar Abdullah Condemns Militant Attack on Non-Local Labourers

Srinagar, Oct 20 :Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on non-local labourers in the Gagangeer area near Sonamarg in central Kashmir, which left two dead and several others injured.

In a post on social media, Omar Abdullah expressed his deep sorrow over the incident, calling it a “dastardly and cowardly attack.” He noted that the victims were working on a crucial infrastructure project in the region when they were targeted.

“Very sad news of a dastardly and cowardly attack on non-local labourers at Gagangeer in Sonamarg region. These people were working on a key infrastructure project in the area. Two have been killed, and two to three more have been injured in this militant attack,” the CM said.

He condemned the attack on unarmed, innocent individuals and extended his condolences to the victims’ families. “I strongly condemn this attack on unarmed innocent people and send my condolences to their loved ones,” Omar Abdullah added.
