Leopard takes away minor boy in Kulgam village

Search launched to trace the boy, says Wildlife Officer

Kulgam, Oct 23: A minor boy was lifted and taken away by a leopard at Brinal Lammer area of Devsar in south kashmiri’s Kulgam district on Wednesday evening, sources said.

An official told that Sahran Yousuf (5) son of Mohd Yousuf was outside his home at Pratapora, when the leopard pounced over him and took him away in the nearby forests.

Incharge Wildlife department Kulgam, Imtiyaz Naik said that a search operation was launched to trace the minor boy.

More details are awaited.
