28 OCT:A programme under the banner of “Nasha Mukt Bahrat Abhiyan” was held on Monday at north Kashmir’s Sopore Warpora Village in order to make Sopore a Drug free subdivision.
The programme was held on a Civic action plan for drug demand reduction under Nasha Mukt Bharat at Islamia Public school warpora Warpora Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
On this occasion CO 179 CRPF V K Choudhary ,Chief Civil defence Baramulla Dr Anayat Mir, TSWO Fayaz Ahmad Lone,179 CRPF DC Ajeya Kumar, officers of CRPF,Headmaster Bashir Ahmad Tantry & Civil Society Members Warpora were present.
Speakers on the occasion said that relentless efforts and commitment is required to take the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan as a result oriented campaign.
They said drug addiction can devastate the future of the young generation, adding that “we jointly have to share responsibility in keeping vigil at our wards and their close ones to prevent them from getting into this menace.”
Various steps were discussed in a meeting as how to keep youngsters away from the drug menace. The main motive of the meeting was to make Sopore a drug free area.
