November 09: SSP Kulgam Shri Sahil Sarangal-IPS today, chaired a District Level Police Conference at DPO Kulgam, in which police officers from across the district participated. The session focused on conducting an impact assessment and baseline study of the recommendations from the DGP/IGPs Conference-2023, with the objective of evaluating the current status, awareness, and surveillance levels regarding the implementation of these recommendations within Kulgam district.
The conference also explored the use of advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to improve operational efficiency, enhance crime prevention, and respond effectively to emerging criminal activities.
Officers were also directed to prioritize the ground-level implementation of specific recommendations. They were instructed to prepare and submit a detailed report addressing all assigned points, this will enable the timely compilation and submission of the findings to higher authorities.
The conference was attended by Addl. SP Kulgam, Addl SP NHW Qazigund, SDPO Qazigund, SDPO DH Pora, DySP Hqrs Kulgam, DySP PC Kulgam, Hatipora, Manzgam and SHOs/IC PPs of district Kulgam.
