Kupwara, Nov 10 : A policeman lost his life after his car met with an accident near the Sadhna Top area of Kupwara today, officials said.
An official told that the policeman was traveling from Police Post Taad, Karnah, towards Kupwara in an Alto car bearing registration number JK09B 2325, when it veered off the road at Khooni Nalla while he was on official duty.
He was identified as Head Constable Gh Rasool, a resident of Handwara. Meanwhile, police quickly arrived at the scene to investigate. Further details are awaited.—(KB)
