Karnah: The dire circumstances of Abdul Quyoom Boken, a resident of Baghbella Kachadiyan, call for immediate intervention by the administration. Living in a tin shed with his wife and four children, Boken endures harsh winters with snowfall up to 4-5 feet, despite being eligible for the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana (PMGAY).

For years, Boken has been residing in a tin shed with his wife and four children, facing harsh winters where snowfall reaches up to 4-5 feet. The inadequate shelter makes it extremely challenging for the family to survive the freezing conditions.

Quyoom Boken, the sole breadwinner of his family, has made numerous appeals to political leaders and government offices to secure the benefits promised under PMGAY. Despite his relentless efforts, he has only encountered bureaucracy and unfulfilled promises, leaving his family in a state of despair.

“It is heartbreaking to see my children suffer in these conditions. Every winter, we fear for our lives. The government schemes that should be helping us seem out of reach,” said Quyoom Boken.

The plight of Abdul Quyoom Boken raises serious questions about the effectiveness of the PMGAY and the accountability of local authorities. His story underscores the urgent need for transparency and efficiency in the implementation of welfare schemes designed to assist the most vulnerable.

Local activists and community members are calling for immediate intervention to ensure that Quyoom Boken and others in similar situations receive the support they are entitled to. The hope is that by shedding light on these issues, appropriate action will be taken to alleviate the suffering of families like him.

The community and concerned citizens are rallying to bring attention to Boken’s case, advocating for a fair and just implementation of government aid programs.
