Sopore Blood Donors organise Blood Donation Camp at Darul Uloom

Sopore: Sopore Blood Donors (SBD) on Friday organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with GMC Baramulla and SDH Sopore at Darul Uloom Mahrajpora in the town.

A team of doctors from GMC Baramulla and SDH Sopore actively participated in the camp, ensuring its smooth conduct.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 170 volunteers from various parts of Sopore, who generously donated blood.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Sopore, Irshad Rasool Kar, and Tehsildar Sopore, Sheikh Tariq, highlighted the significance of blood donation as a noble cause that saves precious lives.

They further emphasized that blood donation has multiple health benefits and does not cause weakness, encouraging more people to take part in such initiatives.

The founder of Sopore Blood Donors, Inam Faisal expressed gratitude to all the donors and participants for their overwhelming response. He underscored the importance of organizing such camps, which provide a platform for volunteers and staff members to contribute to this humanitarian cause.

He also stressed the need for more such initiatives in Sopore to foster a stronger sense of community and solidarity.
